A LITTLE DISCOVERY, EVERY DAY
Follow the letters.
A list of words. A grid of letters. A few quiet minutes to bring them together.
Daily puzzle

Drag across a word, or tap its first and last letter.
Choose a theme
A fresh puzzle each day at 00:00 UTC.
Start with an easy grid
Choose Animals, Food & garden, or Places & journeys. Easy gives you eight words in a 10 by 10 grid. All placed words run from left to right or from top to bottom. Standard gives you ten words in a 12 by 12 grid, with diagonals and reversed directions too.
The word list uses the same capital letters as the grid. French, Spanish and Portuguese accents remain visible. German ß becomes SS when uppercased, so both the grid and list use SS. Japanese uses hiragana, including small kana and the long-vowel mark as individual cells.
Select along one straight line. If the line matches a listed word’s placement, it is marked as found. You can select either endpoint first. Random filler can occasionally form extra words; the listed placements determine completion.
A few simple rules
- Find every word in the list. Accented letters keep their accents; match the letters exactly.
- Easy words run to the right or down. Standard adds diagonals and backward words.
- Drag from the first letter to the last, or tap both ends. Selecting the same word again will not add to your score.
- Keyboard: Tab to the grid, move with arrow keys, and press Enter or Space at each end. Escape cancels.
Try an endpoint selection
For CAT in three neighboring cells, select C and then T. The middle A is included automatically. A selection must follow one straight line.
Your puzzle, your pace
